2.2 Design and construction. The design and construction of the headlight shall be as specified in figure 1 and ordinance drawings engineering parts list (EPL) 8735875.

1. Unless otherwise specified, dimensions are in inches.
2. Lens tolerancing and dimensioning shall be in accordance with ANSI/ASME Y14.5, draft angle10° max.
3. The lens shall withstand the thermal shock incurred when the lens at a temperature of 232 ± 3 degrees Celsius (°C) (450 ± 5 degrees Fahrenheit (°F)) is immersed in water at a temperature of 10 + 3°C (50 + 5°F).
